Health Science TWO

 

 

Recommended for 11th & 12th graders               Prerequisite: Health Science I

 

     This course focuses on the National Health Care Foundation Standards and the National Health Science Career Cluster Model pathways. 

 

The course is designed to help the student to expand their understanding

of financing and trends of health care agencies, fundamentals of wellness,

legal and ethical issues, concepts of teamwork and effective

communications. 

 

Four hours of Shadowing is available. 

 

The student will complete a professional portfolio

and required to purchase 1 pair of BLUE scrubs.

 

Honors option available.
